Single Offset Butterfly Valves

BRITVAL offers concentric butterfly valve, also known as a zero-offset butterfly valve, one of the most common types of butterfly valves. In this design, the shaft passes through the center of the disc, which is aligned with the center of the pipe, allowing the disc to rotate within the valve body. The valve opens and closes with a quarter-turn rotation of the disc, providing fast and efficient control of fluid flow.

Engineered for compact installation, minimal friction, and long service life, our concentric butterfly valves offer excellent sealing performance while requiring low maintenance. Their lightweight and cost-effective design makes them ideal for handling large volumes of liquids and gases in various pipeline systems. Concentric butterfly valves typically use a soft elastomer seat (such as EPDM, NBR, or PTFE) for sealing, which allows for tight shut-off in low to medium pressure applications. These valves are suitable for low-pressure and low-temperature applications and are widely used where space-saving design, reliable flow control, and easy maintenance are priorities.

Key Features:

Single Offset Butterfly Valves are designed with a compact body structure, making them lightweight and easy to install even in limited spaces. Their reduced weight also helps lower transportation and support costs.

  • Compact & Lightweight Design
  • Low Torque Requirement

Engineered for easy operation, these valves require less operating torque, making them suitable for manual, pneumatic, or electric actuation while reducing energy consumption.

  • Quick Quarter-Turn Operation

These valves operate with a simple 90° rotation, allowing fast opening and closing for smooth and efficient flow control in industrial piping systems.

  • Cost-Effective & Easy Maintenance

With fewer components and a simple design, Single Offset Butterfly Valves are economical to maintain and provide long-term operational reliability with minimal downtime.

  • Reliable Sealing Performance

The offset disc design reduces direct contact between the disc and seat during operation, minimizing wear and ensuring dependable sealing performance with longer service life.

  • Versatile Industrial Applications

Suitable for handling water, air, gas, and other non-corrosive media, these valves are widely used in industries such as water treatment, HVAC, chemical processing, and oil & gas.
